Pastors Drew and Brittany began as worship pastors at Revive in 2015 and later began serving as youth pastors as well. Their heart is to give others the space to engage with the presence of God.

Our Story

On Easter Sunday in 2013, Pastors Michael and Anastasia Welborn launched the very first service of Revive Church with a simple vision: build a church centered on prayer, the presence of God, and people.

Pastor Michael grew up in nearby Hollywood, Georgia, while Pastor Anastasia was born in Ukraine and moved to the United States at thirteen years old. Their stories met in ministry training school, where God brought them together in both ministry and marriage.

From the very beginning, prayer has been the foundation of this church. Pastor Michael has faithfully led as a man of prayer, believing that real ministry is built in the presence of God before it is ever seen on a platform. His heart for authenticity and transparency has shaped the culture of our church — creating a place where people can come as they are, encounter Jesus genuinely, and grow in real relationship with God and others.

Pastor Anastasia poured her life into the church with creativity, vision, and deep love for people. She carried both strength and joy — deeply passionate about the things of God, yet full of life, laughter, and fun. So much of what makes this house feel warm, welcoming, creative, and alive carries her fingerprint.

On December 19, 2025, Pastor Anastasia went home to be with the Lord. While her passing brought deep grief, her faith, strength, and legacy continue to shape who we are today.

And by God’s grace, we continue moving forward.

Today, our mission and vision is clear: Presence, Discipleship, and Evangelism.

We exist to connect with God daily, live as disciples, and share the Gospel.

As a church, we are built on four core pillars: prayer, family restoration, community transformation, and local and world missions. These values shape everything we do — from how we worship and serve, to how we love our city and reach beyond it.

More than anything, we want to be a church where people encounter Jesus, find healing and purpose, grow in faith, and carry the Gospel into their homes, communities, and the nations.
